A 21.3 km flood-control channel through a coastal city, exposed to salt water, sand and intense heat. After chloride-attack lifecycle modelling against steel rebar, GFRP was specified across the entire run. Documented by the American Concrete Institute, the project sets the scale benchmark for industrial-grade composite reinforcement.
